Our president and founder, Barry Holwerda, Ph.D., started mtibio in 2008 with the goal of streamlining protein production and purification in an efficient and cost-effective way. Building on over 35 years of experience at the bench as an NIH-funded academic and within the pharmaceutical industry, his values have molded the way we do business, whether it's how we approach a problem or how we ensure client satisfaction.
